Conservative Lieberman Clause

The original ketubah text with a vital minor modern addition

Connecting with the past while preserving gender equality

What is the Lieberman Clause? This section is often added to the Traditional Aramaic text for non-orthodox weddings, but can be added to any other text you would like.  While the Traditional Aramaic text gives only the husband full rights to accepting or refusing a potential divorce, the Lieberman Clause gives equal rights to both the husband and wife in such a situation.  We recommend checking with your officiant about adding this clause.
