Design Elements
These four elements combine to make your beautiful ketubah timeless.
FRAME
Each frame is custom-made of high quality materials and comes complete with museum quality, ultra-clear, anti-reflective, scratch and shatter resistant, UV protective acrylic and an acid-free archival foam-core backing.
BASE
Each base is made of a material called IceStone, which is composed of recycled glass, concrete, and pigment. After searching among many options, we chose to work with IceStone because (1) it is a high quality and highly durable material, (2) it offers a sustainable option - the company that creates it is a cradle-to-cradle certified Benefit Corporation with a focus on responsible design, and (3) with its use of recycled glass it is wonderfully symbolic of breaking the glass at your wedding ceremony and a beautiful reminder of that momentous event.
KETUBAH TEXT
Each text is giclée (digital fine art) printed on museum quality archival paper with acid-free ink. After multiple quality checks and reviews with you for accuracy, each fine art text is formatted and printed for your specific order.
SCULPTURE
Each sculpture is created in a durable resin for optimal strength and weight. Each is finished with a patina and wax protectant for long-lasting coloration. Each sculpture is also available in bronze upon request. (Please note that there is an additional material cost for sculptures made in bronze - please inquire for more information prior to purchase.)
